Learning Goals
- Demonstrate depth of knowledge and cultural competency about one or more world regions, including through study abroad and the study of language.
- Situate this depth of regional knowledge within a broader, dynamic understanding of its international, global, and comparative contexts.
- Frame and conduct research, and develop meaningful written arguments, based on effective use of ideas and diverse types of evidence (e.g. statistical, archival, ethnographic, oral, artistic, literary, visual, popular culture).
- Express ideas clearly, articulately, and persuasively in oral rhetoric in a variety of settings (informed conversations, classroom debate, formal presentations).
